Sterling Silver Find!
Shopping in New Albany, IN April 12th 2014 we came across this very old seemingly plated silver dish. While going through the pile of mostly rubbish we found that this dish had a hail mark of a crown and a few other little signature's. We then knew something was different about this item. We offered the seller $5.00 and they said ok. We bought it home on that journey and did our homework. It ended up being an 1850 Regency Silver, sterling silver platter weighing a whopping 17.9 Troy oz. We sold this item for $ 321.00 in Early April, 2014!

1893 World Fair Spoon
We found this 1893 World Fair spoon for $.10 cents at a garage sale in Barrington, IL on May 5th, 2014. We were out going estate sales to estate sale, and on the way we were drawn to an older home, that seemed to have a great place full of treasures. We decided to pull over and stop. As we began to look around this item stuck out to me. It was a spoon dated 1893. To us it seemed to be quite a bit different, so we decided to purchase the spoon. The spoon turned out to be an 1893 - World's Fair Demitasse Spoon - Machinery Hall. This
spoon is 121 years old and 400 years after Columbus founded America.
This is a very cool piece of history!!! On the back of the spoon is
Standard. The length of the spoon is 4 1/4 inches.

Norman Rockwell 1974 Christmas Plate Scotty Gets His Tree
Norman Rockwell 1974 Christmas Plate Scotty Gets His Tree
This collectors plate was found for only $.45 cents at a good will store in Joliet, IL. Being a team of educated collectors we looked the plate up and fount it to be valued at roughly $65.00 due to the low number on the plate and it being a rockwell, we now have this plate on sale as well as a few other prints of his work!

Norman Rockwell

Norman Perceval Rockwell (February 3, 1894 – November 8, 1978) was a 20th-century American painter and illustrator. His works enjoy a broad popular appeal in the United States for their reflection of American culture. Rockwell is most famous for the cover illustrations of everyday life scenarios he created for The Saturday Evening Post magazine for more than four decades.[1] Among the best-known of Rockwell's works are the Willie Gillis series, Rosie the Riveter, The Problem We All Live With, Saying Grace and the Four Freedoms series.
